Memories of Darlene Johnson (Apps)

I was a reporter on the "Breeze" and remember you as the editor. In 1959 I was in Grade nine. In grade twelve I was the editor. I haven't looked through my keepsakes but I think I may still have a "Breeze" when perhaps you were the editor. I remember your enthusiasm when we were gathering articles for the "Breeze". It kept us motivated.

I married Wayne Johnson and we have lived on a farm east of Alsask since 1965. During this past year our family have been building a cabin at Alix, Alberta. For a number of years we had a cabin at Jackfish Lake by North Battleford but our kids live in Alberta close to Edmonton and Calgary so it will be easier to visit in Alix.

I have been secretary/librarian at Westcliffe for 15 years. For the past three years I have job shared with Lorraine Wilke (Coutts).

Wayne and I are looking forward to the Reunion! We enjoyed the Reunion in 1982.
