  Built a web site (finderschoice.com) featuring an interactive database. Used php and mySql.
• Database management
  Developed complex applications for various clients in Microsoft Access using SQL and Visual Basic. Managed gigabyte scale mineral exploration database.
• Application of Datamine Software
  Managed exploration data for Laramide Resources Ltd. on the Cerro Colorado gold prospect in Sonora. The database includes 165 drill holes with 130,000 individual data points, plus other exploration data. The work included:
• Made colored drill sections with assays, geology etc. By superimposing plotfiles I am able to show 10 or more variables as drill-hole histograms on a single drawing.
• Made wireframes of orebodies, u/g workings and digital terrain models.
• Showed these wireframes and DTMs on sections as slices.
• Posted geochem and chip sample data on drawings.
• Wrote macros and command language.
• Made a colored x-ray birds-eye wireframe view of the deposit and the mountain which contains it. This drawing also shows the drill holes and underground workings.
• Statistical analysis of radiogeochemical data
  At Queen’s University. Applied stepwise multiple linear regression analysis to relate radon in stream water to radium in sediments. The analysis supports a model in which radon is added to stream water by production from radium in the associated sediments and by influx of radon-rich groundwater, and lost by aeration and radioactive decay. Programmed in Fortran.

  Active user of Internet, word processor, spreadsheet, database, using 486, Pentium, HP-11C, Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows 98 and Microsoft Works and Office (Excel, Access etc.). Presentation of geochemical, geophysical and drilling data using Autocad etc. Evaluation of statistical techniques applied to mineral exploration.

• Led the Urangesellschaft field party which discovered the Kiggavik uranium deposit west of Baker Lake. We made this discovery in 1974 by flying a gamma-ray scintillation spectrometer set on broad band. The deposit has since been drilled off and ore reserves identified.
